  1. The class began planning and writing the rough copy for the Keeper 'n Me and Lion essay.

The class took notes on the following terms for the study guide #3 test: analogy, antithesis, bias, cliche, colloquial, compare, conflict, contrast, dilemma, dramatic irony, foreshadowing, idiom, jargon, objective, rhetoric, sarcasm, satire, setting, situational irony, slang, subjective, symbol, theme, verbal irony.
  3. The study guide #3 test will be on Wednesday in class and will most likely be finished on Friday.
  4. If you did not write the run-on sentences test last Thursday, you will have to sign up for my FOCUS block on Wednesday and come in and write it.
